A resident of Kotelnich was caught selling drugs and attempting to bribe a police officer.
The Kotelnich Interdistrict Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region has sent a criminal case to court against a 43-year-old resident of Kotelnich. She has been charged under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: attempted illegal sale of narcotic substances in large quantities (part 3 of article 30, paragraph "g" part 4 of article 228.1), illegal sale of drugs (part 1 of article 228.1), illegal acquisition and storage of drugs in large quantities (part 2 of article 228), as well as attempted bribery of an official (part 3 of article 30, part 3 of article 291).
According to the investigation, on April 12, the accused arranged through the internet with an unidentified person to sell drugs. She received the prohibited substances and made several drops in the territory of Kirov. The woman kept part of the drugs for personal use.
The next day, she handed over 0.08 grams of the prohibited substance to her acquaintance.
On April 15, the suspect was detained by the police. During a personal search, narcotic substances were seized from her. Attempting to avoid responsibility, the woman offered a police officer a bribe of 10,000 rubles and her mobile phone. The law enforcement officer refused the "reward" and stopped the illegal actions.
The court, at the request of the investigation, chose a measure of restraint for the accused in the form of detention.
