Sergey Mamaev: "If the elections are fair, the Communist Party will win."
The head of the regional branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Sergey Mamaev, commented on the party's participation in the elections for the deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov region. According to him, during the year of forming the candidate list, the party selected contenders, and the team included representatives of different generations.
Mamaev noted that he himself headed the party list. The second candidate was Yuri Vylegzhanin, a participant in the Chechen campaign and an entrepreneur, and the third was Ekaterina Selezneva, a candidate of economic sciences and an employee of VyatGU. The head of the regional branch added that Vylegzhanin is a person from a simple family and "of our blood," while Selezneva is very active and has always impressed the party leadership.
"We have mature, middle-aged, and young candidates. A team of people who care deeply about the Kirov region," said Mamaev.
Speaking about the upcoming campaign, the leader of the Kirov communists stated that he expects a high result for the party if the elections are held without violations. "If the elections are honest and not falsified, then we will achieve a good result," he believes.
At the same time, Mamaev criticized his political opponents, stating that he does not see strong competitors among them, and also expressed grievances about the socio-economic policy of the regional authorities, particularly regarding the development of districts, gasification, and the implementation of infrastructure projects.
Let us remind you that the day before, the regional conference of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation approved the party trio for the elections to the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov region.
