Kirov Region celebrates Youth Day: seven venues are operating in the city.
In the Kirov region, Youth Day is being celebrated. A program has been prepared for residents and guests of the city at seven different venues. All events are held under the common concept of "Dream. Pride. Unity."
As reported by the press service of the regional government, the main feature of this year's celebration is the principle of "youth for youth." Volunteers, student brigades, activists, and public organizations come up with and conduct events themselves: from quests and master classes to interactive zones and concerts. However, looking at the poster, doubts arose about the correctness of this idea (as most events smell of nothing but naphthalene)...
A patriotic venue is operating in Spasskaya Square. Here, there are exhibitions of drones, VR tours, open-air film screenings, master classes, and the creation of mascots for participants of the Special Military Operation (SMO).
On pedestrian Spasskaya, a "Volunteer Picnic" has been organized — a venue with interactive activities from non-profit organizations and volunteer associations.
The S.M. Kirov Park is hosting the street culture festival "Kipyatok." Here, hip-hop battles, DJing classes, skating, and stand-up paddleboarding races on the pond are taking place.
Also, the "Her Majesty - Family" festival was held in Alexandrovsky Park. More than 100 families from 30 districts of the region are participating. Thematic venues are operating for them: "Family Business," "Family Pride," "Family Celebrations," and "Family Songs." Participants present their stories, creative performances, and family projects.
As part of the festival, six young families received housing certificates for the purchase or construction of housing. In total, about 300 families have already received such support through the regional program.
