More than 30 regions have already imposed restrictions on fuel sales.
As RBC calculated, more than 30 regions have introduced restrictions of varying degrees on the sale of fuel. The latest to join them are Dagestan and the Kaliningrad region, where limits on the volume of fuel per person have been imposed. In Dagestan, it is now prohibited to buy more than 20 liters of gasoline and 50 liters of diesel per person. At gas stations of major operators in Kaliningrad, the limit is even stricter: no more than 30 liters of gasoline or 60 liters of diesel per refueling.
On June 24, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov stated that there is no sharp increase in fuel prices in the country. According to him, the rise is only observed "at a number of gas stations, primarily independent ones," while prices at gas stations of systemic companies have increased slightly.
Meanwhile, the situation in the Kirov region remains tense. Last week, local gas stations updated their prices — gasoline has risen by several rubles compared to the prices that were in effect in mid-June. Regional authorities have sent a request to the Federal Antimonopoly Service to check the justification for the price increase at the gas stations of the company "Dvizhenie," and the prosecutor's office has also been involved in this issue.
