The court in Kirov recognized the right of the SVO volunteer to compensation for injury.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Oktyabrsky District of Kirov conducted an inspection based on the appeal of a participant in the special military operation. It was established that the man participated in combat actions as a volunteer. During the special military operation, he was injured and subsequently recognized as a second-group disabled person. Despite this, he was unable to receive a monthly monetary compensation. The reason was legal uncertainty: at the time of his injury, a contract with the military authorities had not yet been concluded, which created a formal barrier to the appointment of social support measures. The Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit to recognize the veteran's right to compensation. The court fully satisfied the demands of the supervisory authority. As a result, the pension rights of the participant in the special military operation were restored.
