No signs, no roof: passengers from Samylyonok are waiting for the bus in the open air.
Residents of Samyolyonok, as well as employees of the nearby large enterprise, have long gotten used to the fact that their bus stop is essentially just a place by the roadside. The only landmark and seating area is a wooden bench that the villagers erected themselves near some bushes. None of the essential attributes of a civilized bus stop are provided here: there is no shelter to protect from snow or rain, no lights for the evening, and not even road signs indicating the boarding area.
Routes from here lead in two directions - to the district center, Yurya, and to Kirov. The flow of passengers cannot be called small: alongside local residents, employees of the city-forming enterprise regularly use the stop. For both groups, waiting for a bus in bad weather becomes a real test.
The villagers approached the district administration with the initiative to equip the stop with a covered pavilion. However, judging by the applicants' reactions, nothing has changed - their requests have gone unanswered. It seems that no progress has been made on the issue, and now the problem has attracted attention at a higher public level. Representatives of the People's Front have already sent official requests to the State Traffic Inspectorate and the prosecutor's office demanding to check the legality of the current situation and the safety of road traffic in this area.
How the inspection by the supervisory authorities will conclude and whether the stop will finally have a roof over its head remains an open question. But the fact that the situation has come to light and is under the control of public activists gives residents hope for change.

No signs, no roof: passengers from Samylyonok are waiting for the bus in the open air.
In the Yuryansky district, the official bus stop in the village of Samylyonki exists only on paper. In reality, the stop is marked only by a bench that the villagers installed themselves. Without road signs, lighting, and a shelter, people spend time waiting for transport in any weather — and have repeatedly asked the district authorities to rectify the situation, but nothing has changed.
