In the Kirov region, 13 fires occurred in a week, and one person died.
In a week, rescuers managed to evacuate 15 people during fires. On June 16, in the village of Koryugino in the Slobodsky district, the roof of a private house was burned and the walls were sooted — presumably due to a lightning strike. On the same day, near the village of Zaytsevy in the Kotelnichsky district, a shed and 150 rolls of hay burned down — arson may have been the cause. On June 19, in the village of Semushino in the Zuevsky district, a two-apartment house caught fire: the roof burned, and in one of the apartments, the walls, floor, and ceiling were burned out. The owner suffered burns and was hospitalized. In the village of Leninskoye in the Shabalinsky district, on the same day, a two-apartment house also burned — outbuildings and the roof burned, and the body of a man was found at the scene of the fire. In both cases, careless handling of fire may have been the cause. There were three incidents on the water during the week. On June 19, in the village of Murygino on the Vyatka River, a man drowned — the body was retrieved from the water. On the same day, in the village of Vishkil in the Kotelnichsky district, another man presumably drowned; his body has not been found, and searches are ongoing. On June 20, at the "Borovitsa" beach in Kirovo-Chepetsk, a witness saved a woman — an investigation is underway.
