The Kirov region has raised the land plan for construction, despite exceeding the target.
By June 1, 2026, the Kirov region identified 1,158.5 hectares of land suitable for residential construction. This exceeds the target indicator (1,132.65 ha) that was set earlier.
However, the success report was short-lived. By the order of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr) dated June 3, 2026, a new plan for the region was approved for 2026 — 1,525.59 hectares. The document comes into effect on July 1.
Thus, the region needs to find an additional approximately 367 hectares of land for individual housing and apartment buildings.
For comparison: a year ago (on June 1, 2025), the "Land for Construction" service had 547 plots and territories listed.
The work is being carried out in collaboration with the Rosreestr Administration, the government of the Kirov region, and municipalities. All data on identified plots is submitted to the "Land for Construction" service on the "National Spatial Data System" platform (FGIS ECP NSPD).
