Sokolov promised to bring "Pobedilovo" to self-sufficiency by 2027.

      Governor Alexander Sokolov expressed the opinion that the Kirov airport "Pobedilovo" will reach self-sufficiency in the next year, 2027. According to him, before the start of the runway repairs, it was almost self-sufficient, but the work, which stretched over more than two months, hindered this. The authorities expect that the situation will change in a year.

      Let us remind you that earlier there was a reconstruction of the airport building. The area around it and the parking lot were also updated. Currently, the runway repairs are ongoing. They promise to complete it by the end of June. After that, flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Naryan-Mar, Kazan, Kaliningrad, and Mineralnye Vody will resume, and the flight to Makhachkala will be restarted. "The Northern Alliance" will be given land without bidding for the construction of an aviation hub in Kirov. The Ministry of Transport reported when the runway repairs in Kirov are expected to be completed. "Minus 30 thousand": the postponement of the Pobedilovo repairs hit the wallets of Kirov residents.
