In the Tužin district of the Kirov region, a court sentenced a 69-year-old local resident who was caught illegally selling alcohol. The district prosecutor's office supported the charges under Article 171.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which pertains to repeated illegal retail trade in alcoholic products.
The story began back in July 2025, when the woman first came to the attention of law enforcement and was held administratively responsible under Article 14.17.1 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. For the illegal sale of alcohol, she was fined 30,000 rubles.
In January 2026, the pensioner decided to earn some extra money through illegal trading and sold three bottles of alcoholic products. The violation was detected by police officers during operational preventive measures.
In court, the woman admitted her guilt. The defendant was fined 50,000 rubles—20,000 more than last time. All seized alcoholic products, which became material evidence, were destroyed.
