In Kirov, a man caused an explosion in front of a moving car.

      Recently, local residents in Kirov contacted the police. They reported that they witnessed an unknown person throw something onto the roadway in front of a moving car on Zelenina Street, after which the object instantly ignited. Fortunately, no one was harmed in the end.

      After some time, the police apprehended the offender. He turned out to be a 41-year-old resident of Kirov with a prior conviction. He confessed that he had been drinking the day before and decided to test a homemade device made from a plastic bottle, pyrotechnics, and flammable liquid. The dangerous experiment was conducted right on the road.

      At the man's home, police found another such device. A criminal case was initiated against him under part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism). He faces a fine ranging from 500,000 to 1 million rubles (or an amount equivalent to his income for 3-4 years), compulsory labor for up to five years, or imprisonment for up to seven years.
