Are there gasoline shortages in Russia?
Regional publications report that fuel problems have begun in the regions of the Russian Federation. Currently, issues are being experienced in Belomorsk (Karelia). Local journalists report that there are limits at gas stations — no more than 60 liters of AI-95 and 90 liters of AI-92 per transaction. Diesel is currently without restrictions.
Restrictions on gasoline have already been introduced in at least 15 regions. The list includes: Moscow and the region, St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, Kursk, Belgorod, Pskov, Tyumen, Sverdlovsk, Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Ryazan, Tomsk, Novgorod, Murmansk, Voronezh regions, as well as Krasnoyarsk, Crimea, and Luhansk region (where sales are by coupons). Most often, one can buy 20–60 liters of gasoline and up to 100 liters of diesel.
In Kirov, by the way, there is currently no issue with gasoline — there are no limits.
At the same time, another story is unfolding in Russia — mass disconnections of mobile internet for security purposes. They have been recorded in more than 80 regions, including Crimea, Moscow, Leningrad, Voronezh, Rostov regions, Primorsky Krai, Tuva, Yakutia, and Kirov itself, where the internet is also periodically disconnected.
