In Crimea, the sale of gasoline for cash has been banned.
Starting from June 4, the sale of gasoline for cash payments has been completely suspended for several days, reports the "Russian Newspaper." There are no vouchers available for free sale and there will not be any in the near future. Fuel will be dispensed based on previously purchased vouchers at a rate of no more than 20 liters per vehicle.
To prevent abuses at gas stations, municipal employees will be on duty. They will take photos and videos of the license plates of vehicles that are sold fuel using vouchers. All utility services, law enforcement agencies, and life support units, according to Aksyonov, are supplied with fuel in full volume. Strict restrictions have also been imposed on government authorities — every vehicle leaving the garage will be accounted for.
Recall that we previously reported that limits had already been introduced on the peninsula: gasoline of the AI-92 grade was sold at no more than 20 liters per vehicle, and refueling into canisters was temporarily banned. Additionally, on June 3, information emerged about restrictions on fuel sales in Moscow and St. Petersburg, where limits "per person" began to take effect at some gas stations.
