      The decision to recover 3.6 million rubles from two agencies and a private enterprise for "improper performance of official duties," which led to the monstrous suffering of parents who lost their 15-year-old daughter and granddaughter, has entered into legal force.

      Let us remind you that on the morning of November 26, 2023, the bodies of two schoolgirls, Sofia and Alisa (name changed), were discovered in one of the houses in Belaya Kholunitsa, which the investigation hastily declared "having died accidentally from carbon monoxide poisoning" — barely a day later. This was publicly and unconditionally stated to the citizens by the head of the district, Tatyana Telitsina, likely "thoughtlessly" broadcasting merely the "opinion" of the investigation — as there were still more than three weeks left before the start of the examination on December 22 (the document in the edited version is available).

      The official expert conclusion, which confirmed the initial version, was given when the bodies of both girls had already been resting in the cemetery for a month. And the same amount of time had passed since Newsler.ru published a photograph of an open stove flue, taken by one of the relatives in the room where the schoolgirls died.

      The story of the friends' demise and its consequences, which initially seemed even more horrifying than death, attracted the attention of Newsler.ru because the local officials and educators actively obstructed the independent investigation, forbidding Alisa's classmates from communicating with the journalist, verbally describing her portrait to the children.

      However, it was the schoolchildren, shuddering in horror, who reported that "yesterday, a not-blonde Alisa was buried, but an unknown dark-haired girl who lay on her side, with her arms and legs sticking out of the coffin." About an hour later, Newsler.ru found a fresh grave at the Belaya Kholunitsa cemetery, already dug up for exhumation, under a cross with Alisa's name, where Sofia lay.

      The girl was not dressed in the white wedding dress given to her by her parents to the "funeral team," but in a black leotard.

      Moreover, the court proceedings were a heavy trial for Sofia's relatives, where the defendants were ready to shift the blame for their actions regarding the deceased's body onto anyone. This included the parents of the schoolgirl, despite the paradoxical and blasphemous nature of their own assertions. Thus, when Sofia's mother did not recognize her daughter in the coffin, she was advised to "go to a mental institution, as she had lost her mind." And in response to the grandmother's weeping, who said, "they mocked my granddaughter even after death, breaking her neck" (the body did not fit in the coffin), they merely shrugged.

      As the representative of the Investigative Committee stated in the appellate instance, no violations were observed on the part of the agency — the actions were carried out in compliance with all legal requirements. The representative of the morgue "blamed" the confusion regarding the deceased on Alisa's father, who "took the wrong one." But the representative of the LLC "Memory" defended himself the most vigorously against the plaintiffs and compensation payments, asking the grandmother about the "specific moment of moral harm caused to her by the hearse driver Matvey Ganichev: when he took the bodies, when he transported them, or when he delivered the bodies to the morgue."

      As lawyer Tatyana Bazhina, representing the interests of Sofia's relatives, explained, a cassation appeal is being prepared for the Samara court today, as there is an intention to hold the Investigative Committee accountable for "poor investigation."

      "Firstly, Sofia was twice assigned the status of 'Alisa's killer,' but was not held criminally liable due to... non-judicial age... Until the Regional Court overturned the charge made against the deceased girl. Secondly, the agency categorically refuses to participate in the court process of the third investigator in the 'Belaya Kholunitsa case,' Ivan Shakhmatov, who was dismissed from the authorities for 'disgraceful reasons' — violation of the oath and committing an offense incompatible with service in the authorities, and the court agrees with him. It also insists on the impossibility of questioning the investigator following Shakhmatov, Ivan Ogorodnikov, who now serves in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug," explains Tatyana Sergeevna the reason and meaning of writing the cassation appeal.

      Bazhina considers it important to question the police officers who responded "to the bodies of the schoolgirls."

      "It was they who carried out black bags from the apartment where the bodies of Sofia and Alisa were found, simultaneously explaining to those gathered that it was necessary to hide what the father should not see. And isn't it a reasonable question: what should the father not see? The father of whose girl? And who gave the command for the total cleanup and destruction of evidence? And what is the difficulty in gathering the police officers who now serve in different districts of the region — from Yuryansk to Vyatskopolyansky?" the lawyer said.

      By the way, even a staunch atheist or agnostic has to ponder the events, or rather, the fates of those involved in the "deadly story." Thus, the hearse driver Matvey Ganichev went to the SVO, and there has been no news from him for about six months. Nikita Maklakov — the one who slept between the bodies of the schoolgirls. The one who, a year and a half later, attempted suicide and soon went to the SVO, and since then there has been no news of him.

      The third — Ivan Susenko (possibly one of those who locked the apartment from the outside when leaving), about whom Newsler.ru reported the least, but his possible "involvement in the friends' death" could likely be classified as "murder." It is with him that Alisa most likely corresponded, inviting him to a party with possible sex, alcohol, and drugs. According to Sofia's parents, Susenko might have decided to "eliminate" their daughter, who became a dangerous witness to the orgy involving a minor and intended to tell about it (the girl died innocent).

      Perhaps he also had the idea to eliminate the second witness to Sofia's murder — Alisa (who died a few hours after Sofia: she was still "warm" when her parents arrived, and her mother tried to resuscitate her), who called her friend around three in the morning asking for help. It is likely that Nikita Maklakov was supposed to die from an "overdose" (witnesses heard Susenko's phone conversation about Maklakov's fate), but survived because the paramedic instantly made the "correct diagnosis."

      Last year, Susenko was sentenced to a long term (probably more than 10 years) for "sexual harassment of a child." After which, as his acquaintances reported, he also requested to go to the SVO to atone for his sins. Since then, no information about him has been received.
