The debt for alimony of 360 thousand rubles was settled after the intervention of the prosecutor's office.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Verkhoshizhemsky District of the Kirov Region checked how bailiffs collect alimony from debtors. The focus was on a 34-year-old local resident.
The man, being capable of work and aware of the court's decision to pay alimony for his minor son, for a long time did not transfer money without valid reasons. The debt exceeded 360,000 rubles. He had previously been held administratively liable for failing to provide funds for the child's maintenance.
The results of the inspection were sent to the inquiry. Based on this material, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (failure to pay alimony for minor children).
After the intervention of the prosecutor's office and the initiation of criminal prosecution, the debt was fully repaid. In court, the man was found guilty but was released from criminal liability based on paragraph 3 of the note to Article 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation due to the full repayment of the debt.
The prosecutor's office noted that the rights of the minor child have been restored.
