The Directorate of Urban Development of Kirov responded to the prolonged rains with official warnings. These were received by contracting organizations. The essence of the requirement is simple: to strengthen control over how the stormwater systems are functioning.
AO "Gordormostroy" assured that measures for diverting water from the roadways are being carried out in full. Five areas are under special control: near the botanical garden, on Lenin Street in the area of the Zasor ravines, at the monument "Kirov Residents - to the Front" on October Avenue, as well as the intersection of Moskovskaya and Roman Yerdyakov streets.
In addition to the usual measures, the contractor has employed a new tool - a special telescopic system. With its help, it is possible to determine the level of contamination in the pipes and the exact locations of blockages. As explained by the organization, this is necessary for more effective cleaning in the future.
