In Kirov, with the onset of the warm season, work has intensified to eliminate unauthorized dumps. More than 9 million rubles have been allocated from the city budget for these purposes.
As reported by the territorial administrations, the majority of spontaneous dumps appear in suburban areas. In spring, many residents of Kirov clean up their dacha plots, but not everyone disposes of their waste in designated places. Additionally, during the seasonal tire change period, there are instances of dumping car tires, which are classified as waste of the IV hazard class.
"We ask residents to adhere to environmental norms and leave waste at specially designated sites or dispose of it properly," said the First May territorial administration.
In the First May district alone, it is planned to eliminate 16 unauthorized dumps. In the Lenin and October districts, more than a thousand cubic meters of waste will be removed. Work has already begun in Novovyatsk, where garbage has been cleared from the gardening association "Rural Builder" and at 11a Sovetskaya Street.
The administration reminded that storing waste in places not intended for this purpose is a violation of landscaping rules. Administrative liability is provided for this, both for individuals and legal entities.
