Sergey Churin will not go to the Regional Duma.

      The deputy announced his decision on his social media page "VKontakte." "I have decided not to participate in the preliminary voting of the United Russia party and the elections to the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov Region," wrote Sergey Anatolyevich.

      He noted that during his years as a deputy, he, along with the voters, managed to implement many important projects in the areas of improvement, road management, lighting, support for education, culture, and local initiatives.

      "Especially significant was the work on the 'Bright District' project. Over several years, hundreds of lamps have been installed in our districts, which today illuminate streets, yards, public spaces, and social facilities. This is a matter of safety, quality of life, and respect for the people who live in our cities and towns. Great attention was paid to supporting schools, kindergartens, cultural centers, libraries, sports, and community projects. All of this is part of a systematic effort that has always been built on dialogue with residents and understanding the real needs of the territories," wrote Sergey Churin.

      He thanked the residents of Kirov for their trust, support, meetings, proposals, and joint work. Churin also noted that his decision not to participate in the elections does not mean that the initiated projects will be neglected. "I will continue to participate in their implementation and further assist the territories with which I have been connected for many years.

      It should be noted that earlier, Deputy Oleg Berezin announced his decision not to participate in the primaries and elections for deputies of the Legislative Assembly. He noted that it has been a great honor for him to represent the interests of voters throughout all these years.
