Annually, chemical and mechanical treatment is carried out on 800 hectares of land adjacent to regional highways. This year, active work is already underway in the Kirovo-Chepetsk, Falensky, Murashinsky, Kotelny, and Omutninsky districts.
They are treating the right-of-way of roads such as Kirov – Kirovo-Chepetsk – Zuevka – Falonki – border of Udmurtia, Falonki – Uni, Omutninsk – Peskovka – Kirs, access to Lenin and Murashi.
The work is carried out in two stages during the growing season: chemicals, mechanized, and manual treatment are used. Before the start of the season, experts travel around the areas, record new outbreaks, and adjust the methodology.
