A landfill caught fire in the Kirov region.

      In the past 24 hours, on May 20, there were 10 fires in the Kirov region. This was reported by the regional emergency management agency.

      In Kirov, a fire occurred in a technical building on Prudnaya Street. In Murashi, an unused structure burned on Dzerzhinsky Street. In the village of Sochnyevo in the Nagorsk district, there was a fire at a solid waste landfill. In the village of Somovshchina in the Nolin district, a private residential house caught fire. In Omutninsk, a summer house was on fire. In the village of Sokovni in the Slobodsky district, a bathhouse burned down. In the village of Podgoren in the Slobodsky district, a garbage container was set on fire.

      Fires in open areas occurred in Kirov on Pavel Korchagin Street, in Belaya Kholunitsa, and in the village of Karau in the Kotelnich district.

      In addition to extinguishing fires, yesterday the emergency management staff dealt with the aftermath of three traffic accidents. In Kirov, a car and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of Gorky and Azin Streets. A similar accident occurred in Kirov at the intersection of Lomonosov and Moscow Streets. In the Kirov sloboda of Losevo, two cars collided with a motorcycle.
