The government explained the threefold increase in the cost of the ice rink in Raduzhny.

      At the meeting of the Legislative Assembly committee, Deputy Albert Bikalyuk once again criticized the government. Among other things, he criticized the increase in the cost of constructing an ice rink in Raduzhny from 146 million rubles to 461 million, which is almost 3.2 times higher.

      The First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kurdyumov noted that 146 million rubles was the initial contract price. The contract was signed not only for construction but also for design. And only when the project was created and passed state expertise did the authorities receive clear data on how much funding was actually needed for construction. As a result, the cost of the work had to be increased.

      The official added that the design was carried out with delays, and the authorities are still conducting claims work with the contractor. As for the facility, it was built at an accelerated pace and put into operation.
