December in the Kirov region is expected to be abnormally warm — the temperature will be 4 degrees above normal.

      The Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, in collaboration with the Main Geophysical Observatory, has presented an updated long-term weather forecast for the period from November 28 to December 25, 2025. According to the PLAV+GGO model, a pronounced positive temperature anomaly is expected in the Kirov region — about +4°C compared to the average long-term values. This means that December in the region may be significantly warmer than usual, without severe frosts. On May 16, it will warm up to +26°C in Kirov. Over the weekend, it will warm up to +26 degrees in Kirov, and next week — up to +30. The first decade of June in the Kirov region may be warmer than normal.
