"Good boys" are looking for kind hands
German shepherds Irsen (8 years old) and Zhigan (9 years old) are no longer involved in service activities at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kirov region. As explained by the department, with age, the animals have lost their service qualities. However, they remain healthy and cheerful.
During their service, both dogs assisted in conducting preventive examinations. Their specialization is the search and detection of target scents.
The decision to transfer the animals to new owners was made in accordance with Article 14 of the Federal Law dated December 27, 2018 No. 498-FZ "On Responsible Treatment of Animals and Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation." The dogs are being given away free of charge.
