Residents of Kirov are mass complaining to the prosecutor's office about officials and utility workers.

      The Prosecutor of the Kirov Region, Yuri Ryvaev, held an interdepartmental operational meeting dedicated to restoring the rights of residents of the region who have filed complaints with the supervisory authority.

      The discussion was attended by the Chairman of the Government of the Kirov Region, Mikhail Sandalov, ministers of construction, energy, and housing and communal services, representatives of Rosprirodnadzor, the State Housing Inspection, the administration of Kirov, as well as territorial prosecutors.

      As noted by the prosecutor's office, residents of the region are increasingly turning to supervisory authorities due to the inaction of officials and utility services. Many complaints concern situations where people have already exhausted other means to resolve the issue.

      The meeting discussed appeals related to the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing, the recognition of houses as emergency, the maintenance of common property in apartment buildings, the conduct of major repairs, the quality of utility services, and recalculations for unprovided or poor-quality services.

      Particular attention, as emphasized by the prosecutor's office, is paid to the protection of the rights of participants in the Special Military Operation and their families, large families, pensioners, and people with disabilities.

      Questions regarding compliance with environmental legislation, safety of living conditions, and improving the quality of life for residents of the region were also raised.

      For each appeal, reports from prosecutors on the measures taken and the implementation of "road maps" were heard. As a result of the meeting, additional measures were developed for a more prompt restoration of the violated rights of citizens.
