Kirov residents were reminded how to avoid an increase in utility charges.

      Users of the "Gosuslugi Dom" app have been reminded how to avoid an increase in utility charges. As noted by the developers of the service, this helps to avoid additional expenses and charges based on standards.

      If meter readings are not submitted for a long time, utility charges are initially calculated based on average monthly consumption, and then according to the standard. In cases provided for by law, an increased coefficient may also be applied in the calculations.

      Additionally, in case of late payment for utilities, penalties are charged: from the 31st to the 90th day — at a rate of 1/300 of the key rate of the Central Bank for each day of delay, and from the 91st day — 1/130 of the rate. At the same time, until the end of 2026, a special procedure for calculating penalties based on a rate of 9.5% per annum is in effect.

      The State Housing Inspection of the Kirov Region reports that about 120,000 residents of the region use the "Gosuslugi Dom" app.

      — The "Gosuslugi Dom" app is created based on the state information system for housing and utilities (GIS HCS) with the support of the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia. With the help of the app, you can address issues related to managing your home, — say the representatives of the State Housing Inspection of the Kirov Region.

      With the "Gosuslugi Dom" app, you can:

      - Send requests to the management organization;

      - Track the status of applications and receive responses online;

      - Participate in online voting of homeowners;

      - Use collective applications;

      - Receive notifications about important events related to the house.
