After complaints from Kirov residents, the Zavodskoy wells began to be cleared.
Recall that earlier Newsler.ru reported that residents of Kirov were alarmed due to flooding and a municipal collapse: according to local residents, one of the wells on the slope had been "spitting out" foul sewage for the second month in a row, flooding the road, bus stops, and the surrounding area. At the same time, as the townspeople claimed, the problem was not being resolved, but only water was being pumped out from the roadway daily.
Now the administration has reported that city services and Deputy of the Legislative Assembly Sogomon Arakelyan have joined in addressing the situation. Representatives from the territorial administration and the beautification department visited the site.
According to officials, hydro-cleaning of the well has already been carried out, and work is underway to clear the discharge pipes. Additionally, the expansion and deepening of drainage ditches are planned to improve water drainage.
During the inspection, it was found that one of the wells near the bus stop was almost completely blocked with garbage, which, according to the administration, exacerbated the situation. Authorities promised to take measures to securely close such facilities.
Residents, in turn, are asked not to throw garbage into the wells and to report similar problems to the municipal services.
The administration assured that monitoring of the area's condition will continue.
