In Kirov, they said goodbye to the former dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Vyacheslav Onoshko.
Vyacheslav Nikolaevich Onoshko led the faculty from 1976 to 2007. As noted by those gathered, he was "much more than a dean or a teacher" — for many, he became a Teacher, defining not only their profession but also their internal compass. Alexander Churin, the general director of GP "Selmash," shared personal memories on his Telegram channel. "We kept in touch even after many years. And it was truly valuable to maintain this human, respectful communication with someone who once became a guiding light for you," he wrote. According to Churin, Onoshko was a brilliant scholar, a person of great inner strength and dignity. "He prepared true professionals — people with thinking, culture, and discipline. But most importantly, he taught an attitude towards work and knowledge that became part of a person," the post states. Today in the temple, as those present noted, it was felt particularly acutely that an entire era is passing. "But his school remains. His people. His influence," emphasized Alexander Churin. Earlier, Newsler.ru reported that Vyacheslav Nikolaevich Onoshko passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 85. The editorial team expresses sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
