A woman had her bag snatched from her on Pugachev for a thousand rubles.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Kirov received a statement from a resident of the regional center born in 1965. The woman reported that she was walking along Pugachev Street when an unknown man approached her near one of the houses, snatched her bag from her hands, and ran away. The damage amounted to one thousand rubles. A criminal case was initiated under Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Robbery." The actions of the criminal were captured on surveillance cameras. Investigators identified the detained individual as a previously convicted 62-year-old resident of Kirov. Police seized part of the stolen items. The investigation is ongoing. A sentence of up to four years in prison is possible for committing such a crime.
