A resident of Belaya Kholunitsa took out loans for 740 thousand after a conversation with a "doctor."
A 25-year-old local resident contacted the police in Belaya Kholunitsa. He reported that a man called him, introduced himself as a therapist from his clinic, and asked to confirm some details, then requested a phone number for a callback. Since the young man had indeed been at an appointment shortly before, he did not suspect any deception.
Next, he was contacted by a "specialist from State Services" and an "employee of Rosfinmonitoring." They claimed that fraudsters had gained access to his account on State Services and were trying to take out a loan. To convince him, they sent a photo of the contract.
After that, the victim was persuaded to take out a "mirror" loan to cancel the fraudulent loan. The man borrowed money from several banks — totaling over 740,000 rubles — and transferred it to the specified accounts. When the connection was lost, he realized he had been deceived.
A criminal case has been initiated.
