From April 22 to May 9, 2026, the traditional action "Georgievskaya Lenta" will take place in the Kirov region, dedicated to the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. As part of this action, residents of the region are planned to be given 80,000 symbols of the Great Victory.
Volunteers will distribute Georgievskaya ribbons on the streets of cities and towns in the region. In addition to handing out the symbol of Victory, Kirov residents will be told about the meaning of the ribbon, its historical origin, and the rules for wearing this symbol, as well as reminded of the heroism of the Soviet people and the importance of preserving historical memory.
