Kirov companies retain employees with salaries and praise.
In the spring of 2026, analysts surveyed the leaders of Kirov enterprises and found that a systematic approach to employee retention is replacing one-time actions. The main tool remains money: 46% of companies regularly index salaries, and 52% of leaders consider this measure the most effective in combating turnover.
However, non-financial methods are following closely behind, and their popularity is growing. One-third of employers (35%) have implemented adaptation programs for newcomers—to prevent employees from quitting in the first few months. The same number of companies (33%) have launched referral programs, rewarding employees for bringing in new specialists. And 30% use public recognition of achievements: praise from management, a wall of fame, internal awards, or corporate merchandise. It turned out that symbolic rewards work just as well as monetary bonuses.
Another 29% of Kirov companies have made their pay and KPI systems as transparent as possible—so that employees have no questions about what and how much they are paid. Less frequently, but still applied, are other methods: hybrid or remote schedules (17%), workplace arrangements (16%), sports payments (11%), and even burnout prevention programs involving psychologists (7%).
As the hh.ru platform's research showed, 19% of companies have not changed anything in their HR policies yet.
Interestingly, the most stable teams are found in small organizations with up to 100 people: 41% of them have a turnover rate of no more than 10%. In large companies (500 employees and above), such low turnover has only been achieved by 27%. The calmest sectors in terms of staff movement are marketing, advertising, and law. In contrast, manufacturing and construction, where there is a particularly strong labor shortage, continue to lead in job turnover rates.
Office fashion by the rules: 48% of Kirov employees adhere to a dress code. Employers are evaluated on social media even by those who are not looking for a job. One in five Kirov schoolchildren combines school with work.
