      In the past 24 hours, on April 18, the water level has risen in most rivers of the Kirov region. By 9 AM on April 19, the water level in the Vyatka River in Kirov reached 407 centimeters from the zero post, having increased by 11 centimeters over the day.

      Currently, 31 residential areas in the Vyatskopolyansky, Kotelnychsky, Kilmezsky, Malmyzhsky, Soviet districts, and Kirov have been flooded, along with two low-water bridges in the Kiknur and Oparin districts, and 10 sections of roads in the Vyatskopolyansky, Zuevsky, Kotelnychsky, Oparin, Soviet districts, and Kirov.

      In the populated areas where flooding has occurred, operational groups from local government bodies and fire-rescue units are on duty. Targeted assistance has been organized for residents. According to officials, life support in the flood zones has not been disrupted. Evacuation is not required. As a last resort, temporary accommodation points have been prepared for people.
