Evgeny Poddubny: proposals in the People's Program of "United Russia" for supporting participants of the SVO correspond to public demand

      "Forums have become a good discussion platform, where there have been many debates, many proposals from experts 'on the ground', and criticism from representatives of the Government. But as we know, the truth is born from these disputes," said the Secretary of the General Council of the party, Vladimir Yakushev.

      At the Expert Council chaired by Dmitry Medvedev, the results of processing proposals were analyzed. The party chairman emphasized that the interests of residents and the capabilities of the country's economy are taken into account in the work on the new People's Program. Citizens are concerned about issues of accessible medicine and pharmaceuticals, support for families with children, the condition of roads, housing and communal services, water management, ecology, waste disposal, and support for participants and veterans of the special military operation.

      The incoming ideas are forming five thematic blocks. The first - "The Structure of the Largest Country in the World" - gathered proposals for ensuring people's lives: medicine, education, housing and communal services, ecology, and the formation of an accessible environment. The second block concerns labor productivity and personnel. 24,000 proposals were received in the area of "cultural and value challenges." This block covers issues of patriotic education, cultural and artistic development, youth policy, and the protection of Russian values. 23,000 initiatives relate to the "Demographic Challenge" block. A block related to ensuring security in the country has also been created.

      "This is a topic that includes the defense and technological challenge. It has united 12,000 proposals. It concerns the development of new production technologies that enhance the country's defense potential and strengthen its sovereignty," noted Dmitry Medvedev.

      The Deputy General Director of VGTRK, military correspondent, Hero of Russia Evgeny Poddubny noted that proposals to support participants of the special military operation correspond to public demand, including issues of veteran employment, housing provision, and patriotic education of youth. According to him, the largest proposal in the field of employment is the creation of the educational program "Time of Masters," which allows veterans to acquire skills for in-demand and well-paid positions in industry.

      "Our industry is also interested in this, because participants of the special military operation are a huge personnel reserve, a huge personnel potential of our country," noted the Hero of Russia.

      In addition to the five-year program, a program document, or manifesto, for a longer period is being formed in the United Russia party, Dmitry Medvedev noted.

      "This document contains neither specific figures nor any very specific positions. It is absolutely ideological; it should look beyond the horizon of 10-20 years. Therefore, it is necessary to fantasize within reasonable limits, of course. To sometimes express proposals that do not quite align with the already adapted version. Otherwise, there will be no development," stated the chairman of "United Russia."

      In the Kirov region, active work has been carried out in recent years on various directions of the people's program, of which two main ones can be particularly highlighted: childhood infrastructure and healthcare.

      The Governor of the Kirov region, Secretary of the regional branch of the "United Russia" party, Alexander Sokolov, submitted proposals based on the wishes of the region's residents to the new People's Program at the forum "There is a Result!" held in Kirov in March.

      "To increase the accessibility of quality higher education among talented students, we propose to develop and implement a mechanism for providing educational grants. These grants will be aimed at repaying educational loans for students studying at leading universities in the country," said Alexander Sokolov.

      The governor drew attention to the need to organize annual patriotic education shifts in children's health camps. In addition, it is proposed to develop an effective mechanism to support youth housing construction cooperatives in the Kirov region and a number of other initiatives.
