The press service of the Kirov Hydrometeorological Center has published the weather forecast for the next three days. Meteorologists warn residents of the region about a sharp deterioration in weather conditions, which resemble the beginning of April or even March, rather than mid-spring.

The first day of the period will be cloudy. Rain will pass through the city at night, which will turn into snow, and during the day, precipitation will remain in a mixed phase. The wind will be northeast at 7–12 m/s. The air temperature at night will range from -1 to +1°C, while during the day, the thermometers will only rise to +2…+4°C. The region will be even more contrasting: from -3°C at night to +11°C during the day in the southern areas, however, heavy precipitation and icy conditions are expected in some places.

The sky will become cloudy with clearings. Significant precipitation is not expected in Kirov at night, but icy conditions will occur. During the day, there will be light rain mixed with snow. The wind will strengthen to 9–14 m/s. The temperature at night will drop to -3°C, and during the day it will not be warmer than +3°C. In the region, temperatures at night are expected to reach -5°C, while in the southeast, up to +5°C.

Due to the worsening weather, the State Traffic Inspectorate and the Ministry of Emergency Situations recommend that drivers be extremely careful on the roads due to icy conditions, maintain distance, and adhere to speed limits.
