In the first quarter of 2026, residents of the Kirov region filed complaints with the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor 1,231 times. For comparison, there were 1,291 complaints a year earlier. The most complaints were about violations of consumer rights (938 or 76.2%) and violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation (293 or 23.8%). When considering the first block separately, people most often complained about issues with retail trade (47%), telephone communication (11.5%), housing and communal services (7.9%), financial services (6.5%), household services (6.2%), and healthcare (4.1%). In the second block, residents of Kirov were most dissatisfied with living conditions (27.6%), garbage collection (11.3%), food quality (7.8%), air quality (6.8%), conditions in schools and kindergartens (5.8%), maintenance of local areas (5.5%), and quality of public catering (5.1%).
