In Kirov and several districts of the region, there may be brief interruptions in television and radio broadcasts on April 20. The restrictions will be in effect from 01:00 to 10:00 Moscow time.
As specialists reported, preventive maintenance will take place at the Kirov radio and television station, as well as at other facilities of the regional network during this time. Interruptions may affect the first and second multiplexes of digital terrestrial television, as well as FM radio stations, including "Radio Russia," "Mayak," and "Vesti FM."
Maintenance is also scheduled at stations in Kirs, Klyuchi, Tsepochkino, Shmelevо, and Pinyuga. During the work, temporary signal outages may occur.
Specialists note that such work is carried out regularly to maintain the equipment in good condition and ensure stable broadcasting. After the maintenance is completed, the signal usually restores automatically. If this does not happen, residents are advised to restart their television or set-top box and re-scan for channels.
Additionally, it should be noted that digital terrestrial television covers more than 98% of the region's residents and allows them to watch 20 television channels and listen to radio stations in good quality for free.
