In Kirov, a guinea pig bit its owner.
In Kirov, a case of violation of veterinary legislation was recorded after a domestic animal bite. As reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor management, a guinea pig bit its owner, but the woman did not seek help from specialists. According to the rules, after such incidents, the animal must be shown to veterinarians and placed under quarantine under the supervision of specialists for 10 days, and vaccinated against rabies. These measures help eliminate the risk of dangerous diseases. However, the owner of the rodent did not do this, which, according to specialists, could pose a threat to the health of those around her. As a result, she was officially warned about the inadmissibility of violating veterinary requirements. Specialists remind that even bites from domestic animals require mandatory control and consultation with veterinary services.
