Oleg Valenchuk: Today – children, tomorrow – worthy citizens of great Russia
In recent years, patriotic education of youth has become one of the most important tasks for educational institutions. Therefore, events that help children realize their connection to the history of the country and its cultural traditions have gained special significance. One such event last year was the drawing competition "About feats, about valor, about glory," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Its organizer was State Duma deputy, member of the Supreme Council of the "United Russia" party Oleg Valenchuk, together with a team of advisors from Kirov schools on education and interaction with children's public organizations. Hundreds of works were submitted to the competition by Kirov schoolchildren, which indicates a high interest among children in the themes of the Great Patriotic War and the feats of their ancestors. Considering the success of last year's competition, this year Oleg Valenchuk initiated a new project - a citywide distance competition "The Fate of Russia in Your Hands." It covered 4 topics: "This Victory Day," "Russia does not abandon its own," "Where the Motherland Begins," "When You Grow Up." Kirov schoolchildren were able to showcase their talents in various forms of creativity: drawings, songs and poems, social videos. In total, more than 400 applications were submitted from 51 city schools. The jury is currently summarizing the results, and at the end of April, festivals will be held in 3 schools in the city, where the winners will present their works to the public. - Participation in such projects helps children realize that their creativity and active stance can influence society, inspiring them for further achievements, - noted Oleg Valenchuk. - Thus, through our joint efforts, we preserve our traditional spiritual and moral values, educating worthy citizens of our great Russia.
