In the Kirov region, the amateur competition "We Celebrate Our Native Land" continues.

      The project is part of the systematic work of Azimov's team to support the senior generation. The first stage of the competition took place at the end of March on the stage of the district cultural and leisure center in the village of Oparino. Teams and performers from the Luzsky, Podosinovsky, Oparinsky, Yuryansky, and Murashinsky districts participated in it.

      The next stage took place the day before at the House of Culture in Belaya Kholunitsa. Participants from the Belokholunitsky, Afanasyevsky, Verkhnekamsky, and Omutninsky districts presented their creative performances. Representatives of the senior generation performed poetic, vocal, and dance numbers. The concert became a bright event for participants and spectators.

      On behalf of State Duma Deputy Rahim Azimov, the participants were greeted and diplomas were presented by Legislative Assembly Deputy Boris Vesnin, who is responsible for the implementation of the project:

      "Our competition is dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and the 90th anniversary of Kirov Oblast. This project helps to reveal the talents of residents, gives the senior generation the opportunity to take the stage, share their creativity, and give the audience sincere emotions. It is also important that through such initiatives we preserve and pass on to our children and grandchildren the wealth and diversity of the cultural heritage of our native land," noted the deputy.

      Chairman of the Kirov Regional Veterans Organization Irina Shubina noted that the competition provides veterans with the opportunity to unlock their creative potential and realize themselves.

      As part of the project, three more inter-district qualifying stages are planned. The final gala concert will take place in Kirov.
