One of the key areas of cooperation will be the modernization of the digital infrastructure of Moscow State University (MSU). Right now, specialists from the operator and the university are working on a project to equip the conference hall of the Moscow Society of Naturalists, one of the oldest natural science societies in Russia, with modern multimedia equipment and a congress system. The upgrade will allow for conferences, lectures, and meetings to be held using digital means of displaying information and systems for managing presentations.
MegaFon engineers will also modernize existing communication facilities and install additional equipment to expand coverage, increase mobile internet speed, and improve the stability of voice communication on the MSU campuses.
In addition, the operator has developed special tariff plans for more than 50,000 students, graduate students, professors, and lecturers at MSU as part of the "Our People" program. They will receive substantial packages of minutes and mobile internet at a favorable price, as well as unlimited access to the university's portals, its library, social networks, messengers, banking, and cloud services.
"Over the years, we have implemented dozens of large-scale federal-level infrastructure projects. We approach the implementation of reliable technologies with special responsibility and are proud that together with the leading university in the country, we will actively contribute to the training of future specialists," noted MegaFon's CEO Khachatur Pombukhchan.

According to MegaFon analysts, residents of Kirov are frequent visitors to MSU—they study, teach, or come here for excursions. This year, residents of the Kirov region have already generated such a volume of traffic on the institution's territory that it would be enough to send about 40,000 full scientific reports using mobile internet.
