A man was detained in Kirov for 32 thefts.
In Kirov, law enforcement officers detained a 45-year-old local resident. He is suspected of a series of thefts from stores committed since November of last year. According to the Interior Ministry for the city of Kirov, the man may be responsible for at least 32 incidents. According to law enforcement, he acted according to one scheme: he would enter retail outlets, take the desired item, and leave without paying for the purchase.
For instance, on January 11, in a store on Vorovsky Street, he allegedly stole a tablet worth about 80,000 rubles. And on March 15, on Builders Avenue, a bottle of cognac worth 6,000 rubles was stolen in a similar manner.
According to the police, the stolen items were sold by the man, and the money was spent on personal needs. Criminal cases have been initiated against the Kirov resident under parts 1 and 2 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Theft"). Investigators are currently carrying out the necessary procedural actions.
