Almost 200 children from Zaporizhzhia will spend the summer in the Kirov region.
In the summer of 2026, the Kirov region will host 190 children from the Veselevsky municipal district of the Zaporizhzhia region. This decision has been made in the region for the third consecutive year.
The guests are divided into two groups. 130 children will go to the camps of the regional Center for Recreation and Health "Vyatskie Kanikuly." An educational program has been prepared for them, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Kirov region and the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. It includes excursions around the region, sports and creative activities, workshops, and intellectual competitions.
Another 60 children from the same district will go to a health camp on the shores of the Azov Sea.
Local authorities must ensure safe transportation, meals, and comfortable conditions for recreation. As stated by the head of the region, Alexander Sokolov, during the holidays, children will be able to recharge, find new friends among their peers from Kirov, and learn more about the country.
