Today, contractors brought 75 units of special equipment onto the city's street and road network. The main work is currently focused on cleaning the roadways from street debris, as well as tidying up the sidewalks. Vacuum cleaners are removing the remnants of marble chips that were used in winter.
In addition to the equipment, 65 workers are involved in the cleaning. Over the course of a day, 54 cubic meters of garbage and 60 tons of debris were removed from the streets of Kirov.
Earlier, washing machines began working on the roads — they wash away dirt in the curb zone. Municipal workers have also started washing fences and public transport stops.
The city hall added that by the end of May, they plan to tidy up the appearance of the bus shelters — they will be painted.
