The Hydrometeorological Center of Russia has presented the weather forecast for the growing season — from April to September 2026. It is based on long-term statistics and will be further refined with monthly forecasts.
The Telegram channel "Amateur Meteorology in Kirov" notes that a variable temperature picture is expected in the Kirov region. Thus, warm weather is forecasted for the region as early as April, with heat possible in some areas. In May, temperatures are expected to return to climatic norms.
June is also expected to be within the norm; however, higher temperatures may occur in the eastern part of the region. Meanwhile, July is predicted to be hot. In August and September, no significant deviations from the norm are expected.
However, experts note that such long-term forecasts should be approached with caution. Weather conditions may be influenced by the phase of the La Niña climate phenomenon in the Pacific Ocean. With its positive development, stable warmth is often observed in June, while July may turn out to be less hot than currently anticipated.
