      Today, at the plenary session of the Legislative Assembly, deputies adopted a bill requiring them and other representatives of the authorities to report their income if they take on a new position or spend excessively. It was presented by Irina Sipatova, head of the department for preventing corruption and other offenses in the governor's administration and government.

      Deputy Albert Bikaluk asked: "Irina Vladimirovna, I asked you at the committee about cases where a corruption violation is identified, what happens to that or another employee? You told me that there is only one way — dismissal for loss of trust. I was reassured. But just before the start of the meeting, I was told: here is a former employee who recently resigned, I was told he also had such an offense. How was his employment contract terminated? I mean the first deputy chairman."

      Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Roman Beresnev advised Bikaluk to make an official request. "What are you shy about? Just say it," he replied. Beresnev explained that the reporter — Sipatova — does not deal with personnel matters and would not be able to clarify this issue. However, anyone present from the representatives of the authorities could have clarified, but they chose not to.
