It was established that an individual entrepreneur engaged in logging was transporting 35 cubic meters of coniferous timber from the Kirov region to the Chuvash Republic without a quarantine certificate. Quarantine phytosanitary zones are in effect in the region for the large black spruce bark beetle, small black spruce bark beetle, and black pine bark beetle. A quarantine certificate is mandatory for the export of quarantine products from these zones. On March 23, the entrepreneur was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.
