Sometimes they had to do this at night, and at other times, they wandered in freezing weather and up to their waists in snowdrifts. Finally, the animal was found and captured.
Now the lynx cub is undergoing quarantine and treatment. Signs of infection were found, and its eyes are watering, with a third eyelid protruding. The animal also needs to gain weight, as it only weighs 8.5 kg. Further examination under sedation will be required, and the doctors will conduct a full examination and take tests.
