A resident of Borovitsa received nearly 10 years for attempted murder and theft.
According to the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region, a 45-year-old resident of the Slobodsky District has been found guilty under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, as well as under Part 1 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
It has been established that on August 20, 2025, in Borovitsa, while in a state of alcoholic intoxication, the convicted man, out of personal animosity, stabbed his 48-year-old acquaintance in the abdomen. He was unable to complete the crime — the conflict was interrupted by a witness, and the victim received timely medical assistance.
In addition, in June and July of the same year, the man committed several thefts in Kirov. He stole mobile phones, laptops, headphones, and clothing.
The court, taking into account the evidence presented, sentenced the offender to 9 years and 6 months of imprisonment. He will serve his sentence in a high-security correctional colony.
