A drunken quarrel ended with a knife in the neck: the attempted murder case in Belaya Kholunitsa has gone to court.

      The accused is a 63-year-old resident of the Belokholunitsky district. According to the investigation, on the afternoon of July 15, 2025, in Belaya Kholunitsa, the man, while in a state of intoxication, had an argument with his acquaintance and during the conflict stabbed the woman twice in the neck with a knife. He was unable to carry out his intention to the end — witnesses intervened. The victim was promptly given medical assistance, which saved her life. After the attack, the man fled the scene and illegally entered a residential house on Shkolnaya Street. At the request of the investigation, the court chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention for the accused. The suspect is charged with committing crimes under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder), and Part 1 of Article 139 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal entry into a dwelling). The case has been sent to court for consideration on the merits.
