The President of Russia has signed a law that allows the use of biometrics when processing real estate transactions. The innovation will come into effect on July 1, 2026. The document stipulates that participants will be able to submit an application for rights registration electronically. To do this, they will need to verify their identity through the Unified Biometric System. An enhanced qualified electronic signature will also be required.
